LAKE LILLIAN -- Evans Francis Leikvoll, 83, of Lake Lillian died Thursday at Infinia Care Center in Willmar following an extended illness.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Burial will be at Lake Lillian Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service Monday.

He was born Feb. 13, 1923, in Hutchinson to Albert and Emma (Leske) Leikvoll. He grew up in the rural Lake Lillian area and attended country schools. He owned and operated a roller rink on Big Kandiyohi Lake with his brother. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946 during World War II.
He married Gladys Mae Tusha on Feb. 6, 1947. They lived in the Lake Lillian community. He was self-employed in the carpentry business for many years and retired in 1987.
He is survived by his wife; children: Francis Leikvoll of Lake Lillian, Mary Lou Johnson of Lake Lillian; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, one grandson, one great-granddaughter and two brothers.
