WILLMAR -- Evelyn Deloris Messenbrink, 81, of Willmar died Sunday at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Burial will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.

She was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Olivia to Sophia (Winkler) and August John Steffel. She grew up and attended school in that area. She moved to Kindelhope in Willmar in 1969.
She married Lewis John Messenbrink on April 17, 1977, in Atwater. They lived in Willmar. She worked at West Central Industries for many years and later worked at Willmar Junior High School, doing laundry for the swimming program.
She was very active in the Bethesda Day Care Program.
She is survived by her siblings: Vern (and Alyce) Steffel of St. Louis Park, Lorena (and Edwin) Boelter of Cosmos; foster brother: Duane (and Alice) Vinar of Watkins; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; one sister and one brother.
