RENVILLE -- Evelyn Hannah Augusta Luhring, 90, of Renville died Tuesday at the RenVilla Nursing Home in Renville.
The service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the RenVilla Nursing Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frankfort, Ill.
Visitation will be for a half-hour prior to the service at the nursing home chapel. Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service in Renville.

She was born June 26, 1916, in Renville to Fred F. and Bertha (Yaeger) Lenz. She attended Renville Public Schools.
She married Lloyd Luhring on June 8, 1947, in Renville. They moved to Frankfort, Ill., and lived there for 53 years. She returned to Renville in 2000 and lived at Crossroad before she moved to the RenVilla Nursing Home.
She was an active member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and its women's fellowship. She was a charter member of the Bobson-Swinford American Legion Auxiliary Post 1098, and served as chairman of the Poppy Committee for many years.
She is survived by two brothers: Alfred "Mosey" Lenz, Adrian "Pit" (and Gloria) Lenz, both of Renville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974; two sisters; and her special friend: Ervin Lemke.
