APPLETON -- Evelyn Maxine Carl, 86, of Appleton died Sunday at West Wind Village in Morris.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. Burial will be at the Appleton City Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home-Vaala Chapel in Appleton.
She was born May 22, 1919, in Benson to Henry and Gertie (Olson) Anderson. She attended school in Appleton and graduated from Appleton High School.

She married Floyd Carl Sr. on Oct. 1, 1944. She worked as a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for several years. She moved to Minneapolis and worked as a nurse's aide. She returned to Appleton in 1979. She worked as a librarian at the Appleton Public Library, through the Green Thumb program, for many years. She retired and moved to Holloway. She moved to West Wind Village in Morris in 1999.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children: Roger Carl of Morris, Dennis (and Becky) Carl of Appleton, Floyd Jr. (and Dorothy) Carl, of Windermere, Fla; and three grandchildren.
