WILLMAR - Every State Patrol trooper, supervisor and investigator in the St. Cloud district of the Patrol will be on the road working for increased visibility and taking enforcement action Tuesday as part of enhanced patrols to address fatal crashes.
The trooper enforcement action focuses on offenses most likely to kill people, including lack of seat belt use, speed, failure to yield, and inattentive driving caused by texting, rolling stops and other distractions.
Highways designated for increased efforts are State Highway 25 in Wright, Sherburne and Benton counties, State Hwy 29 in Swift and Pope counties, and U.S. Highway 71 in Todd, Stearns and Kandiyohi counties.
