OLIVIA (Staff reports) - A male driver lost his life in a one-vehicle rollover on Easter Sunday in Renville County.
The victim’s identity is being withheld until relatives can be notified, the Renville County Sheriff’s Department reported. His identity will be released at noon today.  
The Renville County Sheriff’s Department reported that the mishap occurred at approximately 1:22 p.m. on County Road 4 about one-half mile east of County Road 3. The site is about seven miles southwest of Hector in Palmyra Township. A preliminary investigation indicates that the male was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer eastbound on County Road 4. The vehicle entered the north ditch, hit a field approach, and overturned. The driver, the only occupant in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Renville County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Hector Ambulance, Hector Fire Department, and the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash is being investigated by the Renville County Sheriff’s Office.
