WILLMAR -- Feedlogic Corporation announced a strategic partnership today with a leading agricultural technology firm and the relocation of its headquarters to the MinnWest Technology Campus in Willmar.
Feedlogic, of Sumas, Wash., is a leading supplier of swine nutrition management technology.
The agreement calls for Life-Science Innovations of Willmar to provide Feedlogic with engineering and sales support through its affiliate companies.
Feedlogic plans to join Life-Science Innovations on the technology campus by March.
It is the first tenant of the new technology campus to be recruited from outside Kandiyohi County.

The 100-acre MinnWest Technology Campus, formerly the home of Willmar Regional Treatment Center, was formed in 2006 as a joint venture between Life-Science Innovations and Nova-Tech Engineering to foster the growth and development of technology companies.
Chris Huisinga, director of business development for Life-Science Innovations, said Feedlogic is a good fit for the company and for the campus.
"Feedlogic is headed in the same direction as we are," he said. "Both companies see growing demand for intelligent solutions in the agricultural sector. Feedlogic's technology has already begun to show its potential in the swine segment, where it is currently focused, and we feel the future is equally bright in other livestock segments as well."
Feedlogic president and founder Drew Ryder said the move positions the company in the heart of its customer base.
"This deal is very important to our growth plans," he said. "LSI brings a wealth of experience in the agricultural sector as well as the financial backing we need to take our technology to the next level."
He said Feedlogic also is excited about joining the technology campus.
"It will provide us with an excellent environment to further improve our current products and create new world-leading products for agricultural markets," he said. "MinnWest is the right location for us at this stage of our growth."
Feedlogic has already commenced collaboration projects with Life-Science Innovations affiliate companies which are expected to result in the launch of a series of new products throughout 2007.
