Filing period ends today for Willmar Ward 4 special election

WILLMAR - The two-week filing period ends at 5 p.m. today for the Nov. 10 special election to fill the Ward 4 vacancy on the Willmar City Council.
Filing for office is the process by which a candidate’s name is placed on the ballot. The filing fee is $5. Persons interested in running for this office must complete the “Affidavit of Candidacy” form at the City Clerk’s Office, 333 Sixth St. S.W., Willmar.
