Jacqueline Delores Fleegel and Jesse Jake Lara, both of Shakopee, are engaged to be married June 24 on Grand Bahama Island in the Bahamas.
Fleegel is the daughter of Steve and Kathy Fleegel of Willmar.
She graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 2003 and from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph in 2007 with a degree in dietetics. She is employed as lead nutrition educator by the Women, Infants and Children program in Shakopee for Scott and Carver counties.
Lara is the son of Daniel and Debra Lara of Willmar.
He graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 2003. He is employed as service manager by Houlihan's restaurant in Maple Grove.
