REDWOOD FALLS -- Florence Emma Arndt, 84, of Redwood Falls died Thursday at Wooddale Nursing Home.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born June 27, 1922, in North Star Township, near Springfield, to Edward and Emma (Wetzel) Kettner. She graduated from Springfield District 48 High School. She worked at St. John's Home in Springfield and at Pantry Grocery in Springfield.
She married Jerome Arndt on June 3, 1947, in Springfield. They farmed near Springfield. They lived and farmed near Wabasso until 1984. They retired and moved to Redwood Falls.
She was a member of Mary Circle, worked as a quilter, and was on the funeral lunch committee at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. She was also a member of New Avon Township Homemaker's Group.
She is survived by her husband; daughters: Jean (and Les) Widerski of Apple Valley, Joan (and Frank) Bunch of Woodstock, Ill.; four grandchildren; and her brothers: Donald (and LaDonna) Kettner of Elk River, Arland (and Gloria) Kettner of Comfrey, Robert (and Jan) Kettner of Springfield, and James (and Myrt) Kettner of New Hope.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
