WILLMAR -- Florence Eleanor Griebie, 97, of Willmar died Monday at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. today at Cloverleaf Cemetery in Willmar. Peterson Brothers Funeral Home of Willmar is handling arrangements.

She was born Sept. 19, 1910, in North Dakota to Thomas and Belle (Pomeroy) Hoover. She grew up in North Dakota. She moved to Montevideo at the age of 20. She also lived in Morris, Fergus Falls and Kerkhoven before moving to Willmar.

In 1930, she married John Griebie. She worked at West Central Industries and in the laundry department at Bethesda Pleasantview Nursing Home. She moved to Bethesda Heritage Center in 2005.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983.
