DAWSON -- Florence Ester Hoff, 92, of Dawson, died Wednesday at the Johnson Memorial Home in Dawson.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson Memorial Home Chapel in Dawson. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Hanson and Dahl Funeral Home.
She was born April 23, 1916, in Ten Mile Lake Township, rural Boyd, to Iver and Gina (Krugerud) Olson. She grew up on the farm and lived in the area all of her life.
She married Roy Jordahl and they lived in Dawson. She later married Sidney Hoff and they lived in Montevideo. After Sidney's death, she moved to Granite Falls. She moved to Parkview Apartments in Dawson and then to Johnson Memorial Home in 2001. She had worked as a cook in various restaurants over the years.

She is survived by her two daughters: Pat (and Joe) Saboe of Dawson and Irma Hodge of Granite Falls; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Myrtle Anderson of Dawson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son: Curtis; daughter: Arlyce Jordahl; two brothers; and two sisters.
