MOUNTAIN LAKE -- Aside from the first touchdown of the game, Renville County West rolled over Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin Friday 36-6 in Southern Minnesota football action.
The Jaguars (3-1, 3-1) trailed 6-0 after MLBO scored a touchdown, then rattled off five unanswered touchdowns. Colin Rehbein scored the first three and finished with 190 yards on 24 carries. Trent Novotny followed with two TDs, the first on a 15-yard pass from Brian Harper and the later on a 62-yard run. He finished with 112 yards rushing on eight carries. Overall, the Jaguars ran the ball 53 times for 375 yards.
The defense also held MLBO to 190 total yards, all of them on the ground. RCW also recovered four fumbles.

Shane Weller caught three touchdown passes from Jackson Illies and finished with eight receptions for 163 yards to lift the Jaguars (2-1, 2-2).
Illies completed 15-of-32 passes for 189 yards and was also intercepted three times. Illies led BBE in rushing with 83 yards in 12 carries.
Tyler Cebulla recovered Craig Roelike's blocked punt in the end zone for BBE's other score in the fourth quarter.
