ALEXANDRIA -- A 22-year-old Alexandria man died in a motorcycle crash in south Alexandria Friday morning.
The Echo Press newspaper of Alexandria reported that Dustin Lee Johnson, formerly of Lake Lillian, lost control on a curve on Minnesota Street shortly before 6:30 a.m. Friday.
The 2004 Victory motorcycle left the road and struck a fire hydrant. Johnson was thrown off the cycle and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Echo Press report.
The Alexandria Police Department is investigating.
