MINNEAPOLIS -- Former Hengstler-Ranweiler Award winner Brett Winkelman of Morris Area is expected to start at forward for North Dakota State University tonight against the Gophers.
Winkelman, a 6-5 redshirt freshman, had been impressive in preseason games.
All five starters from last season's Bison team are gone, four via graduation and the other transferred.
Former Willmar star Sam Susenguth made the trip with the team to Minneapolis but will redshirt this season.
