The Tribune area has only four volleyball teams remaining this season and all are in sub-section championships tonight.
Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa and Central Minnesota Christian are both attempting to return to the state tournament.
BBE (27-3) faces Sauk Centre (22-4) at 7 p.m. in Paynesville in the Section 6AA-17 final. Montevideo and MACCRAY battle in the Section 6AA-19 championship at 7 p.m. in Morris. The winners will square off for the 6AA title match Saturday at UM-Morris with the winner advancing to the Class AA state tournament Nov. 9-11 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
BBE is currently on a 12-match win streak. Its last loss was Sept. 28 against Eden Valley-Watkins. The Jaguars have not met Sauk Centre this season. Two of Sauk Centre's losses came against St. Cloud Cathedral in West Central North Conference matches. Cathedral has only one loss this season. The other two losses came in championships of tournaments.
CMCS (18-9), which plays one of the strongest schedules in the area, meets Cedar Mountain/Comfrey (15-9) at 6 p.m. today at Martin Luther College in New Ulm for the Section 2A-North final. If the Bluejays prevail, they would face the 2A-South winner Saturday at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.
