LITCHFIELD -- Four people face pending felony drug charges as the result of a search that turned up methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia this morning at a Litchfield residence, according to police.
The search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation for the trafficking of illegal drugs. It was executed at 11 a.m. today in the 200 block of East Second Street in Litchfield, according to a news release from the Litchfield Police Department.
The investigation uncovered an undetermined amount of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia and packaging supplies.

All four suspects are being held in the Meeker County Jail pending formal charges for controlled substance crimes. The investigation continues and more arrests are expected, according to the release.
Assisting the Litchfield Police Department in the search today were the Meeker County Sheriff’s Department, CEE-VI Drug Task Force and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
