The wrestling publication The Guillotine ranks four Tribune Area wrestlers first in their weight class, according to Guillotine.com as of Dec. 22.
Ben Meyer, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City sophomore, leads the Class A 103-pound weight class. Also in Class A, senior Joel Kerzman (145 pounds) and senior Sean Glenz (152 pounds), both of Paynesville, top their respective weight class. In Class AA, senior Stephen Westby of New London-Spicer is No. 1 at 275 pounds.
In The Guillotine Dirty Dozen, BOLD/Buffalo Lake-Hector is ranked fifth in the Class AA and in Class A Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City is fifth and Paynesville sixth. Leading teams are Albert Lea in AAA, St. Michael-Albertville in AA and Pierz in A.
