MAYNARD -- Frances Evelyn Docken, 92, of Clara City, formerly of Maynard, died Tuesday at the Clara City Care Center.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Maynard Lutheran Church in Maynard. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening at Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
She was born Dec. 25, 1913, in Crate Township, Chippewa County, to George and Mary (Martin) Marholz. She grew up in rural Maynard and graduated from Maynard High School in 1932.

She married Harry Docken on Nov. 23, 1932, in Montevideo. They lived in Maynard until moving to Clara City in 2001.
She was a member of Maynard TOPS, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Buzz'n Dozen Homemakers Club. She was a member of Maynard Lutheran Church and active in altar guild, circle and women's group activities.
She is survived by her husband; children: Gordon (and Millie) Docken of Rosemount, Douglas (and Judy) Docken of Waconia, Mary Jo (and David) Prekker of Clara City, Lyle (and Linda) Docken of Maynard, Mark (and Jane) Docken of Clara City; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister: Shirley Miars of Mesquite, Nev.
She was preceded in death by an infant son: Dennis; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
