WILLMAR -- Francis "Sonny" Ruchti, 78, of Willmar died Nov. 26 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service was at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.
He was born Oct. 10, 1928, in Raymond to Edward and Pearl (Ashton) Ruchti. He grew up and attended school in the Willmar area. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was discharged in 1957. He worked for a number of years driving truck for various businesses and also for Farmer's Produce and Irv Hanson Nursery.
He is survived by his mother of Willmar; and his siblings: Lenna (and Burt) Benson of Minneapolis, Violet Pregler of Willmar, Lillian (and Lloyd) Pregler, Edward (and Eleanor) Ruchti of Sunburg and Eugene (and Sharon) Ruchti of Atwater.
