WILLMAR -- Josh Fredeen passed Adam Olson in the final laps to win the Hobby Stock Special Thursday evening at the KRA Speedway at the fairgrounds.
Fredeen, the points leader now with eight feature wins, also won the first heat in his white No. 11 Mustang. Fourteen cars raced in the division. Greg Thell was third in the feature and Mike Flickinger fourth.
National Mod-4 points leader Shayne Laske of Moorhead made his first appearance on the Willmar oval and didn't go home disappointed. He won his heat over runner-up Paul Hartman of Willmar and then won the feature.
Jason Thoennes of Garfield went from the fourth row to catch and pass Kent Willms in the Modified class.
Ryan Buer led the Street Stock final flag to flag with Mike Jans in close pursuit. National leader Cory Crapser could do no better than third. Another Wisconsin driver, Keith Tourville, who has won five features, raced Thursday instead at his home track in Rice Lake which had a special. Buer, an Atwater electrician, is in second at the Willmar track trailing only Crapser.

Ryan Aho, the Wissota National points leader, won the Super Stock feature.
Danny Bayer, tops in track points in Midwest Modifieds, swept to cushion his lead.
Racing next week during the Kandiyohi County Fair is on Wednesday evening, featuring the Modified class.
