BENSON -- Frieda Mathilda Krogstad, 91, of Benson died Wednesday at Golden Living Center, Medowlane Health Care Center in Benson.
The service will be at 10 a.m. at First Evangelical Free Church in Benson. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery in Morris.
Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements are by the Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
She was born June 14, 1917, in Mason Township, Murray County, to Hans and Valborg (Keller) Christiansen. She grew up near Alberta. She graduated in 1935 from Alberta High School.
She married John Lampert on March 30, 1937, in Morris. They settled on a farm south of Morris. They then moved to the home where she was raised. John died in 1965. Then she moved to Morris.

She married Rolland Krogstad on Sept. 16, 1970, in Milbank. S.D. They farmed and raised crops, hogs, and mink near Benson. Rolland died in 2007. She moved to the Westwood apartments in Benson.
She is survived by three children: Joan (and Jim) Wieczorek of Bovey, Gary (and Dianne) Lampert of Morris, and Karen (and Gary) Locher of Willmar; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, a granddaughter, a brother and two sisters.
