Melanie Gail of Lac qui Parle Valley and Taylor Witt of Morris Area were each recognized by the West Central Conference South for the week of Jan. 2-6.
Gail, a senior guard, was named the Girls' Basketball Player of the Week.
Witt, a senior guard, was selected as the Boys' Basketball Player of the Week.
