RENVILLE -- Galen George Wohlman, 81, of Renville died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Renville. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Renville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Renville and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
He was born Jan. 19, 1925, in Renville to George and Mabel (Lentz) Wohlman. After graduating from Renville High School, he served as a combat medic in the Third Marine Division for four years in the Pacific Theatre.

He married AnnaBelle Bulau on June 16, 1946, in Olivia. He worked at the Coast-to-Coast Store in Olivia and then moved to Renville where they owned and operated the Coast-to-Coast Store. He retired in 1980.
He was a volunteer fireman, an EMT on the ambulance crew, and was a member of the Lions Club, the V.F.W., and American Legion Post 180. He played town team baseball for over 40 years. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Renville.
He is survived by his wife; children: Gail (and Mike) Ahern of Tauton, Jennifer (and Lowell) Hoffman of Belle Plaine, Ned (and Julie) Wohlman of Renville; eight grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
