GLENWOOD -- Georgia Marion Oeltjen, 91, died Tuesday at Glenwood Retirement Village in Glenwood.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Villard. Burial will be in Lake Amelia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood and for one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
She was born Oct. 27, 1916, in Haywarden, Iowa, to George and Jose (Transue) Coberly. They moved to Villard, where she attended school. She graduated in 1936 from Villard High School.

She married Harold Oeltjen on Sept. 5, 1936, in Alexandria. They lived in Villard for a short time then they moved to a nearby farm. She was a homemaker and helped on the farm. In 2002, she moved to Parkview Court in Glenwood. She move to Glenwood Retirement Village, due to health problems.
She was a member of St. John's Ladies Aid, the Northside Birthday Club, homemaker's club and the Villard Senior Citizens. She also served on the Lake Amelia Cemetery board, the Glacial Ridge Hospital board and helped establish the community center in Villard.
She is survived by her seven children: Richard (and Bernice) Oeltjen of Glenwood, Joyce Uhlenkamp of Osakis, Dean (and Anita) Oeltjen of Villard, Janet (and Gary) Morrison of Osakis, Bonnie (and Richard) Reichmann of Villard, Linda (and Stan) Paulson of Osakis and Robert (and Audrey) Oeltjen of Villard; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1989, two grandsons, a granddaughter, and three sisters.
