Girls Basketball: ACGC pulls into a tie for lead in West Central South

BENSON -- Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City pulled even with Lac qui Parle Valley for the West Central South Conference girls basketball lead with a 56-45 win over Benson Tuesday.

The Falcons improved to 6-1 in the loop and 9-5 overall.

Brittany Smith and Kayla Dahlman did the bulk of the scoring for ACGC, with 20 and 17 points, respectively. Smith had six rebounds and Kjersten Karlsgodt added five.

Brittany Holm led the Braves (2-5, 6-8) with 12 points. Abby Fragodt added 11 points and nine rebounds, and Courtney Frank also tallied 11 points.
