GLENWOOD -- Albany padded its lead in the West Central North with a 65-37 win over Minnewaska in girls basketball action Tuesday.
The Huskies (7-0, 10-0) hold a two-game lead over New London-Spicer, which lost to Melrose Tuesday.
Albany took a 25-15 lead at halftime and was led by Jennie Noreen's 19 points. Sara Korneck added 11 and Taylor Voss 10.
Shiona Beecher netted 12 points to pace Minnewaska (4-3, 8-3). Sara Gregerson added 10 points and eight rebounds.
