BENSON -- Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa and MACCRAY won tournament openers Friday night to advance to the championship of the Benson Invitational.
BBE topped Benson 59-43 in one semifinal game, while MACCRAY thumped Paynesville 52-26 in the other.
BBE and MACCRAY will meet at 8 p.m. in the final today. Paynesville and Benson will play for third place at 6 p.m.

Emily Roelike poured in a game-high 26 points, including a pair of three-point baskets, to lead the Jaguars. Heidi Lensing added 10 points.

For Benson, Sarah Ahrndt had nine points and Bri Lohn and Courtney Frank added eight points apiece. Keri Mikkelson had five assists and two steals. Jenny Bouta led with seven rebounds.

Brandi Bodin had nine points and six steals for MACCRAY. Jenna Tebben and Annie Winter had seven points apiece. Ashley Beseman collected nine rebounds.
