Girls Basketball: Carlson sparks KMS win

CANBY -- Sarah Carlson poured in a career-high 30 points, hitting four 3-pointers, and Steph Stassen added 20 points and 15 rebounds as Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg topped Canby 70-63 in a Camden Conference girls basketball game Thursday.

Canby (8-8) led 39-34 at halftime before KMS (6-3, 6-7) staged a second-half comeback.

Demi Young had 10 points for KMS.

Sara Fales and Jody Merritt had 13 points apiece for the Lancers.
