KERKHOVEN -- Dawson-Boyd made more three throws than Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg had attempts, leading to a 49-45 Camden North Conference girls basketball win Thursday.
The Blackjacks were 22 of 32 from the free-throw line with Kelly Swenson sinking 9 of 12 and Whitney Hermanson swishing 6 of 8. Swenson had 15 points and Hermanson eight.
The Fighting Saints were 7 of 14 from the line.
Swenson added 12 rebounds for a double-double to lead the Blackjacks. Kristin Lee added 14 points.
Sarah Carlson registered 15 points and eight rebounds for KMS. Demi Young followed with 14 points and eight boards.

Alicia Koenen and the Wolverines were on fire bolting to a 19-1 lead in the first four minutes at Renville.
Koenen sank four treys in the first half and made 6 of 8 overall to finish with 23 points. Annie Winter made a pair of threes and finish with 19 points, while Jenna Tebben added 10 and Kailee Epema nine.

RCW, which cut a 29-point MACCRAY lead down to nine, was led by Kelsey Brink with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Megan Erickson added 15 points.

Briana Wubben collected 17 points, nine rebounds and eight steals to ignite the Bluejays. Mattea Wieberdink added seven points, seven rebounds and five assists.
