KERKHOVEN -- Hancock's Tara Thielke scored 17 of her 18 points in the second half, helping the Owls top Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 64-49 on Thursday.

Thielke was 9-of-10 at the free-throw line the second half. The Owls were 20 of 28 for the game compared to the Saints 4 of 8 at the charity stripe.

Jenny Noordmans also scored 18 for the Owls (16-1).

Esther Peterson led all scorers with 24 points to go along with nine rebounds. Patina Queenan posted eight points and five assists.

Bree Holleman had 12 points and five assists for the Owls.
