NEW LONDON -- New London-Spicer's Renae Henjum became the first girls basketball player in the area to reach 30 points this season, leading the Wildcats to a 63-37 win over Paynesville in West Central North action Tuesday.
Henjum scored 20 of the Wildcats' 33 first-half points and was a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. She also grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked five shots for NLS (3-0, 4-2).
Kristin Lang scored 14 points and pulled down 11 boards for the Bulldogs (0-3, 1-4).
