BENSON -- Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg ended the game on a 11-2 run, fueled by Sarah Laughlin's three-pointer as the Fighting Saints upended Benson 68-59 in a non-conference game Thusday.
Esther Peterson led the way for KMS with 20 points. Sarah Carlson and Demi Young both had 13, Patina Queenan had 11 and Laughlin 10.
Brittany Holm pumped in a team-high 22 points for Benson. Abby Fragodt added 15 points and 16 rebounds and Sarah Ahrndt had 11 points.
