COTTONWOOD -- Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg knocked off undefeated Lakeview with a late surge with a 54-50 win in Camden North girls basketball Thursday.
The Fighting Saints (4-4, 9-4) went on an 11-0 run in the last two minutes to cap the upset win.
Down seven points, Patina Queenan sank a three-pointer, followed by Spencer Berget's three-point play to cut the lead to one. Queenan, who made five treys overall, nailed her last one with about 40 seconds left to take the lead. Esther Peterson made two free throws to ice the win.
Peterson led the Fighting Saints with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Queenan scored 15 points.

Dawson-Boyd made 8-of-10 free throws in overtime and Britta Helgeson added a three-pointer as the Blackjacks (6-1, 10-2) held off RCW (3-5, 8-6).
Nikki Swenson notched 20 points, seven assists and three steals for Dawson-Boyd. Chelsie Kurtenbach had a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Helgeson had 11 points and Kelly Swenson 10.
Megan Groen led RCW with 26 points. Chloe Huisman had 11 points and Sally Smith 10.
