CLARA CITY -- MACCRAY's Daniele Goeman netted 21 points to help offset Esther Peterson's 25 points and the Wolverines held off a late charge for a 53-50 win Tuesday in the Camden Conference.
Peterson went 10-for-10 at the free-throw line for KMS (2-3, 2-3), but MACCRAY (2-3, 2-5) stood its ground as KMS tried to rally back.
Ashley Alsum followed Goeman, who also collected six rebounds and six steals, with 12 points for MACCRAY, which got a three-pointer from Ashley Beseman just before the halftime buzzer went off.
Peterson also hooked 10 rebounds while Patina Queenan pumped in 13 points and Sarah Carlson piled up six steals and five assists for KMS.

The Jaguars, who also got seven rebounds, five assists and five steal from Groen, shot just below 50 percent from the field and led by as many as 19 points.
Heather Voss (11) was the only player to score in double figures for Dawson-Boyd. The senior forward also hooked six rebounds.
