DAWSON -- A day after moving into a tie for first place in the Camden North Conference, Dawson-Boyd was upended 43-33 Friday by Minneota, which is leading the Camden South standings.
The Vikings (9-1, 13-2) never trailed and limited Dawson-Boyd (7-4, 8-5) to just 13 field goals. Kristen Roles (13 points and 11 rebounds) and Alyssa Buysse (11-10) both posted a double-double for Minneota.
Dawson-Boyd was only 4-for-11 from the free-throw line and was led by Kelly Swenson's 10 points and eight rebounds.

While Canby (2-3, 8-8) dropped to .500 on the season, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (5-4, 6-6) moved to .500 for the first time since Dec. 15 as Esther Peterson (26) and Sarah Carlson (24) combined to net 50 points for the Fighting Saints.
Carlson scored the first nine points for KMS, which led the entire game. Peterson also grabbed 15 points.
