MORRIS -- Behind a balanced offensive attack Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta shot over 50 percent from the field to beat Montevideo 62-39 Friday and stay pace in a tight West Central South Conference race.
The Tigers improved to 7-2 in the conference, but co-leaders Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City and Lac qui Parle Valley stayed one step ahead at 7-1 by also winning Friday.
Jasmine Henrich had a game-high 13 points for the Tigers as seven other players scored at least five points.
Brook Moseng led Montevideo, which trailed the entire game, with 11 points.
