ST. CLOUD -- Renae Henjum scored 17 points and the New London-Spicer Wildcats pulled away from St. Cloud Cathedral late in the game to win 61-43 in the West Central North girls basketball opener for both.
NLS had a five-point lead with four minutes left before scoring on the next five possession to win by 18.
Cassidy Vogt's floor game produced 14 rebounds, six assists, five steals and three blocked shots.
Ellary Asche added 10 points on three threys for NLS.
Lindsey Rothstein was alone in double figures for the Crusaders with 11 points.
