CLARA CITY -- Kjersten Karlsgodt banked in a 12-footer and tacked on a free throw with 12 seconds left in overtime to vault Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City to a 48-47 victory over MACCRAY in a non-conference girls basketball game Monday.
MACCRAY missed two free throws with no time remaining that would have won the game.
It was 22-all at halftime and 41-41 at the end of regulation.
Kayla Dallmann led the Falcons with 11 points. Karlsgodt finished with 10 points and seven rebounds, and Miranda Hopp followed with eight points. Jacklyn Pistulka had four assists and five steals.
MACCRAY's Ashley Alsum finished with a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Kari Caspers led the Wolverines with 12 points. Dana Rhoda added 10 points for MACCRAY.
