GLENWOOD -- Minnewaska's strong first half pushed the Lakers to a 52-38 win over Sauk Centre in Section 6AA-West girls basketball action Tuesday.
Minnewaska (14-10) held a 25-13 lead at halftime and outrebounded the Mainstreeters (9-17) 27-19.
Lindsay Solmonson led three Lakers in double figures with 15. Shiona Beecher added 13 and Ashley Chan had 12.
