MADISON -- Yellow Medicine East met little resistance at Lac qui Parle Valley on Monday in a West Central South Conference girls basketball game.

The Sting bolted to a 37-17 lead by halftime and went on to claim a 62-35 victory. Twelve players scored for YME, led by Anne Jepson with 12 and Emily Balfany with 11.

Micaela Erickson producing 14 points and eight rebounds to pace the Eagles.
