PRINSBURG -- Anne Jepson of Yellow Medicine East scored four points in overtime to lead the Sting to their second win of the season, 59-54, over Central Minnesota Christian in girls basketball action Monday.
Jepson finished with 10 points.
YME trailed 21-12 after the first half, but came back in the second half to tie the game at 50.
Emily Balfany led the Sting (2-13) with 16 points. Livi Jeseritz added 14 points and six rebounds. Emma Volstad pulled down a team-high 11 boards.
Tara Frikke's 13 points paced the Bluejays (2-15). Kari Mulder and Andrea Westby added 11 points each. Jennifer Blom scored six points, but led the team with seven rebounds, eight assists and six steals.
