ST. CLOUD -- The Willmar girls finished fifth, but not without a little excitement at the fourth Central Lakes Conference golf meet Tuesday at the Territory Golf Club.
Two Cardinals made eagles, the first in the tenure of coach Jodi Mottiger. Allison Baker, who led Willmar with a 98, eagled the par-4 No. 5 hole and Emily Nelsen, second with a 101, eagled the par-5 No. 10 hole.
Willmar finished with a 409. Alexandria added to its conference win total, shooting a 352 and taking its fourth straight meet.
