Girls Hockey: Alex routs Willmar, 8-0

ALEXANDRIA -- Willmar held Alexandria scoreless for all of the first period and nearly 11 minutes into the second frame when Alexandria broke loose for three goals in 40 seconds to start an 8-0 landslide in girls hockey Tuesday.

Lindsey Schmitt scored the game-winner in overtime for River Lakes by stuffing home a rebound from Kelsey Athmann's shot from the point.

Fergus Falls jumped to a 3-1 lead at the end of the first period, then the Stars scored twice in the third from Alyssa Kemper to force overtime.
