RICHMOND -- Marie Omann scored twice, but River Lakes couldn't hold off Brainerd, skating to a 4-4 tie in Central Lakes Conference action Thursday.
Omann recorded the Stars' only goal in the first period, then tied the game at 3-3 in the second. Kenzie Novak picked up assists on both goals.
Allie Stalboerger gave River Lakes (0-0-1, 1-1-1) a 4-3 lead in the third period, but Brainerd forged the tie on Alyssa Wiebusch's unassisted goal at 10:29.
Abbie Rhoda scored the other River Lakes goal.
