SARTELL -- The Willmar Cardinals outshot Sartell/Sauk Rapids 4-1 in the 10-minute overtime, but had to settle for a 1-1 tie Tuesday in Central Lakes Conference girls soccer.
The Cardinals had little zip in their game in the first half and trailed 1-0. They picked it up the second half and were rewarded with a goal by Jasper Sweazy at 68:57, assisted by Hannah Murphy.
Chelsey Wierschem made 19 saves in Willmar's goal.
Willmar, 1-0-2 in overtimes this season, plays its third game in four days at Worthington on Thursday.
