FERGUS FALLS -- Fergus Falls was impressive in its season opener, shedding Willmar 97-75 Thursday night in a Central Lakes Conference swimming and diving meet.
The Otters broke three pool records.
Willmar's lone win came in diving where Laura Pauman was first with a 159.80. Brooke Barrett of Willmar was second with 135.20.
Alissa Tinklenberg of Willmar was second in the 100 backstroke and 400 freestyle relay with Sarah Hund, Amy Brandt and Alicia Blokzyl. Hund was also second in the 100 freestyle.Emily Zondervan was second in the 100 breaststroke.
