MONTEVIDEO -- Montevideo advanced into the Section 3A quarterfinals with a 5-2 win over MACCRAY in girls tennis Monday.
The Thunder Hawks (9-8), the seventh seed, will play at Benson at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Montevideo captured all four singles matches in straight sets to win the play-in dual.
The only three-set match of the day came from 3-doubles, where Montevideo's Amanda Lipinski and Avery Carlbom won 6-7 (6-8), 6-4, 6-3.
