MARSHALL -- Willmar picked up its second girls tennis win of the season, beating Marshall 6-1 in non-conference action Monday.
"The girls are excited to get our second win. It's a great way to start the week," said Willmar coach Erika Kath.
The Cardinals (2-7), who will play in two other duals and the Central Lakes Conference tournament this weekend, swept the doubles matches, including a pair that went three sets. Willmar won three of the four singles matches in straight sets.
