NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA -- Glenn "Bill" Mead, 88, of Norwood Young America, formerly of Renville County, died Sunday at Auburn West Nursing Home in Waconia.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Ascension in Norwood Young America. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30, at the Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in Norwood Young America and will continue for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
He is survived by his wife: Cecelia; his children: Margaret (and Harold) Swanson of Paynesville; Mary (and Terry) MacDowell of Rio Rico, Ariz.; Richard Mead (and special-friend Linda Isenberg) of Cambridge; Juanita (and Lenny) Bruns of Madelia; Janet (and Steph) Kohls of Chanhassen; Luci (and Bert) Tellers of Waconia; James Mead of Seattle; Jeanne (and Chuck) Buckentin of Norwood Young America; Julie (and Dean) Mesenbring of Norwood Young America, 28 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
